Van der Meer & van Tilburg were asked by the Association of Surface technologies of Materials to develop and implement an education project for the surface technology sector – the Competence Programme Surface Technology. By means of company screenings the different job circumstances of engineers were mapped. Subsequently an inventory of the needs for knowledge and skills was made for a number of job profiles. This project resulted in a new dual education programme for Surface Technology. This education programme is especially targeted at current employees in the surface technology sector. In case of sufficient work experience, current employees can complete this course in three years. |
