Van der Meer & van Tilburg was asked by Senter Novem (the former Dutch departmental agency for the encouragement of sustainability, innovation and international entrepreneurship) to perform a preliminary study on trends in the field of energy-efficient lighting in industrial buildings and depots.
The goal of the study was to find the factors and mechanisms that underlie the process of diffusion and adoption of innovations. The preliminary study resulted in strategies and instruments that are used to stimulate the adoption and diffusion of energy-efficient lighting systems. In collaboration with Senter Novem a procedure was developed to disperse energy-efficient lighting in industrial buildings and depots.
Van der Meer & van Tilburg also performed similar projects in:
- Steam drying
- Lost foam technology
